Over the years, my passion for understanding the brain and human behavior has led me to a rich and diverse career path. I graduated in Psychology from the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes in Portimão, where I deepened my knowledge of the human mind. My desire to explore brain functioning in greater depth led me to complete a Masters in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Algarve.

During my training, I had the opportunity to intern and work as a Junior Neuropsychologist in several clinics and institutions, including at the Centro Neurodesenvolvimento Diferenças polo Lar de Crianças in Portimão with Psychomotricity, at Agrupamento de Escolas Dr.ª Laura Ayres in Quarteira with Psychopedagogy for Neurodivergent People and Colégio de Nossa Senhora do Alto in Faro with Educational Psychology. In these contexts, I developed essential skills in the assessment, monitoring and rehabilitation of patients with neuropsychological challenges, such as the diagnosis of neurocognitive conditions and the planning of therapeutic interventions.

Alongside my clinical career, I have always had a keen interest in education and training. My certification as a trainer has allowed me to share my knowledge and help educate other professionals in the areas of psychology, parenting and church leadership. I firmly believe in the importance of a personalized and human approach, where empathy and scientific rigor meet to provide the best possible care to my patients.

Today, I continue my mission to support mental health and well-being through online psychology, combining faith, science and empathy to help my clients overcome their challenges.
